Two dreaded insurgent groups- The National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and the All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF), will see a major agreement to be signed between these organizations with Indian government as well State Government if any. The MoU signing ceremony will be attended by several Dignitaries including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha at New Delhi.

- National Liberation Front of Tripura, NLFT an All Tripura Tiger Force, ATTF are armed groups demanding autonomy in favor of the indigenous tribes.
- More importantly, the Ministry of Home Affairs in India has actively estabilishing peace process for Northeast by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

- A future Memorandum of Settlement would keep open lines between the government and insurgency with regards to national security and development imperatives.
- NLFT: It was established in August 1989 and has been involved in extortion, armed conflict along with other subversive activities.
- ATTF -- This splinter group of Tripura National Samata Party is fighting for the rights, which can also be termed as demands from indigenous people in Tripura like greater autonomy, and protection on tribal walls etc.
