Telangana Joins NITI Aayog Women Entrepreneurship Platform

Telangana state is of this distinction launching First Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) chapter in the country. This endeavour is designed to bolster the effectiveness of female entrepreneurs through arming them with some very practical tools, resources and contacts who can assist in scaling their businesses.

Launch of WEP Telangana Chapter and Roadmap

• Unveiled by BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO of NITI Aayog at Hyderabad.
• Besides, it seeks to empower women with tools that enable them start and grow their business by giving access to digital skills, financial services, mentorship and market opportunities.
• WE Hub, India's first incubation center is appointed as the State Nodal agency to manage WEP in Telangana!!
• The platform will target to solve the issues women entrepreneurs face like financing, mentoring and market accessibility.
• This will pave the way to further expand WEP in small cities, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities beneficial for women entrepreneurs.
• Started initiative WE Bridge, to be a one-stop platform for women entrepreneurs- Capital Support/Technology Services/Business Counseling.
• Three core focal points — to empower women with digital and financial skills, link workers of home-based businesses then micro-entrepreneurs offering industry leaders collect new skill but access paychecks.
