The Zorawar, India's first indigenously built tank intended for mountain combat, was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). This tank was created in reaction to the continuing Russia-Ukraine crisis and growing geopolitical concerns, particularly with China in Eastern Ladakh.
