Gaganyaan Mission of ISRO will show the humanoid Vyomitra in 2025

ISRO aims to send the Gaganyaan mission in 2025 along with an unmanned robot Vyomitra. Called a semi-humanoid robot, it is designed for use in space missions.

What is a Humanoid & Who is Vyomitra?

• The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will fly Vyommitra an artificial intelligence-based human look-alike robot as a prototype for Gaganyaan before actual crewed missions of the national space agency get going.
• Vyomitra's Design:
• Aluminum, AlSi10Mg skull to resistant heat and mechanical stress.
• Skull for rockets to make shock endure during rocket launch.
