The introduction of a new seaplane service is expected to significantly benefit Kerala's tourist industry. The launch of this project is planned for November 11 at Kochi's Bolgatty Waterdrome. In the Idukki area, the first flight will go from Bolgatty to Mattupetty Dam. The service is a component of the Udan program, which uses air travel to improve regional connections.
