This program has been launched by the government of Himachal Pradesh. An annual budget of Rs 53.21 crore has been allocated for the project, aimed at benefitting low-income families. The aim is to help widows, economically weaker women or any woman separated/divorced irrespective of age and parents with disabilities.
Benefits and eligibility of the 'Mukhya Mantri Sukh Shiksha Yojana'
- Focused on women in distress, the impoverished disabled heads of household and children
- Monthly Rs 1,000 grant per child up to age of 18 years for education; health & nutrition requirements.
Extra financial support for children to pursue undergraduate, post graduate, diploma or vocational courses.

- The widowed, abandoned or forceful female and parents suffering with handicaps will get the benefits from Rs 1 lakh to less than a time of warranty containing spouse.
- Started in Haryana 2020, to enhance mental well-being of students through introducing happiness curricula, stress free teaching method and involving parents.
- Aiming to improve the academic performance through positive learning environment and regular formative assessments
