D.K. Shivakumar has rolled out a new program called Nambike Naksh to speed up the process of issuing construction approvals in Bengaluru. The program is meant to help landowners with enclosures for buildings up to 4,000 square feet in BBMP areas.
Nambike Nakshe Scheme Highlight
- Make available to property owners the instant consent and release by qualified architects or engineers despite building plans.
- BDA Khatas’ and Karnataka Housing Board properties are the targets.
- Delivers a more expedited and streamlined path for property owners to get shovels in the ground.
- Engineers of the BBMP will visit and inspect to see that construction has adhered to society norms.
- Under pilot in two zonal units, but may soon going city wide.
- Digi Bhoomi, launched in 2020 in Karnataka to: •Digitalize land records,•Resolve land disputes and also for urban planning as well as rural development.
