Nayab Singh Saini Sworn in as Chief Minister of Haryana

Nayab Singh Saini have took oath as Haryana Chief Minister for second time. The BJP will thus secure its third successive term in government. Several notable politicians, alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, were present at the event, which took place in Panchkula's Parade Ground. It is an instance of the BJP's firm footing as it gears up for upcoming polls in Jharkhand and Maharashtra.

• Saini, who was born in 1970 and has been in politics for around three decades.
• In 2014, he secured a seat as MLA from Naraingarh and then became part of the state Cabinet in 2016.
• BJP gained 48 of the 90 seats in these assembly elections, with Congress second.
• Saini was sworn in by Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatreya.
• In Scheduled Caste strong-holds, BJP won eight of the 17 SC seats.
• Saini said that his will work for good governance, equality and downtrodden people.
