Maharashtra Third Mumbai Metro Line Will Be Opened by PM Modi

The forthcoming visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Maharashtra is a significant milestone for the state's infrastructure development. He will officially open the first entirely underground metro line in the city, the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Mumbai Metro Line 3. He will also initiate a number of initiatives to promote farmers and enhance urban life.

Inauguration of Mumbai Metro Line 3

• Mumbai Metro Line 3 between Aarey JVLR and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) inaugurated by PM Modi.
• The service will be inaugurated ceremoniously at the BKC metro station.
• The PM will interact with students and workers during the ride to inform them about the benefits of new metro.
• Launched a customer minded mobile app New MetroConnect3.
• A coffee table book chronicling the development of the soon-to-start Mumbai underground Metro will be released.

Agricultural Initiatives

• PM Modi releases the 18th installment of PM-KISAN, assistance to farmers .
• New projects for farmers such as the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, 9,200 FPOs and new agricultural technologies will be started.
• Will dedicate five solar parks which will significantly help in meeting the renewable energy needs of the state.

Urban Development Projects

• The foundation stone for theMumbaiTrans Harbour Link and a few other important projects, such as Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension,Aryan–Ivy project Navi Mumbai AirportInfluence Notified Area (NAINA)projectand Thane Municipal Corporation new administrative building.
