The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ordered SpaceX to temporarily stop using its Falcon 9 rocket on Aug. 28, 2024 The rocket failed to stick the landing following a successful launch of Starlink satellites, hence this decision. Last year in July the first occasion of FAA intervention came following a spate with technical hitches.
