New Aadhaar Rules for Overseas Citizens of India

The applicants will now have to do certain things, new requirements in order to get their Aadhaar, India's unique identifying number. The matter is going to touch the lives of both non-resident Indians (NRIs) and overseas citizens of India (OCIs). Now, anyone above 18 years of age who wishes to register for Aadhaar needs to prove that he or she has spent at least 182 days in India during the previous one year.
