This group of atomic bomb survivors, or Hibakusha, is called Nihon Hidankyo in Japan and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. This Acknowledgment is an omen of the inestimable significance that these survivors are to have had on the awareness and ongoing struggle for total eradication of nuclear weapons.
