The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) kick-started their 12th Joint Military Training' or JMT exercise on October 21, 2024. The exercise is being held at Air Force Station Kalaikunda in West Bengal Bilateral phase dates — Nov. 13–21, 2024 It aims to enhance cooperation between the two air forces.
JMT Exercise Overview
- Specializing in Advanced Air Combat Simulations.
- Promotes Mission Planning Together.
- Carries out Debriefing Sessions to analyze performance and extract insights.
- Strives to increase interoperability between IAF & RSAF.
- Intends to enhance coordination, function smoothly, and boost combat preparedness.
Participation Details
- RSAF deploys largest scale ever including F-16 and F-15 squadrons, G-550 AEW&C and C-130 transport aircraft.
- IAF provides a varied disseisin stock line including Rafael and Mirage 2000 ITI fighters, several Su-30 MKI, Tejas, MiG-29 and Jaguar Lithuanian aircraft.

- Set up in accordance with the bilateral pact between India and Singapore.
- Represents commitment of two countries to cooperate in the field of defence.

- Comes on the heels of RSAF's participation in Ex-Tarang Shakti, being one of the largest multinational aerial exercise conducted by IAF.
