National Arogya Fair 2026 to Promote Ayush at Shegaon

President to Inaugurate Ayush Mega Health Fair in Maharashtra

The Ministry of Ayush, in partnership with the All India Ayurvedic Congress, will organise the four-day National Arogya Fair 2026 at Shegaon in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district from 25 to 28 February 2026. The large-scale event is designed to expand public awareness of Ayush systems while integrating healthcare promotion with rural livelihood development.

Inauguration and Dignitary Participation

The fair will be inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu at Visava Maidan of Sant Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan. The ceremony is expected to witness the presence of the Governor of Maharashtra, Union Minister of Ayush Prataprao Jadhav, and senior government officials, highlighting the national importance of the initiative.

Integrated Ayush Healthcare Services

Visitors will receive free health check-ups, consultations, and medicines under multiple Ayush disciplines, including Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa, and Homoeopathy. Live therapy sessions, yoga demonstrations, expert lectures, and interactive awareness programmes will form key components of the event.

Dedicated stalls representing each Ayush stream will allow citizens to understand India’s traditional healthcare diversity through direct engagement and practical demonstrations.

Exhibitions and Industry Outreach

The fair will host thematic exhibitions focusing on medicinal plants, home remedies, preventive health practices, and wellness solutions. Leading Ayush pharmaceutical and wellness companies will display advancements in research, product development, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), strengthening industry-public interaction.

Farmer-Centric Medicinal Plant Initiative

A significant highlight is the farmer-focused programme scheduled for 27 February 2026 on “Ayurvedic Farming, Production and Marketing.” Experts will provide technical guidance on cultivation, post-harvest management, value addition, and market linkages for medicinal and forest-based crops.
