MIA Secures Consecutive Global Recognition from ACI World

Mangaluru International Airport has been named among six airports worldwide to receive the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award 2025 in the ‘Best Airport at Arrivals’ category by Airports Council International World. This is the second year in succession that the airport has earned the arrivals distinction, following its 2024 recognition.

Managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, the airport attributed the achievement to sustained improvements in passenger handling, infrastructure upgrades and process optimisation.

Understanding the ASQ Framework

The ASQ Awards are considered a premier benchmark for airport customer experience. Rankings are derived from live passenger feedback collected through ACI World’s independently administered survey system.

The ‘Best Airport at Arrivals’ segment evaluates the full inbound journey, including immigration efficiency, baggage delivery speed, cleanliness, signage clarity, ambience and overall comfort.

Global Recognition Platform

For 2025, 100 airports globally have been honoured across different categories, with 195 awards scheduled for presentation. The ceremony will take place on 2 September 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, during the ACI World Airport Experience Summit (31 August–4 September), which convenes aviation leaders to deliberate on service excellence and innovation.
