By the end of the third phase, India will have a fully integrated and self-reliant military structure.
NEW MILITARY AGENCIES AND COMMANDS
The vision creates several new bodies to handle modern warfare. These include:

Defence Geo-Spatial Agency – for maps and location intelligence

Data Force – to manage and protect military data

Drone Force – for unmanned aerial operations

Cognitive Warfare Action Force – to counter psychological and information warfare

Dedicated Space Commands – for space-based defence

Dedicated Cyber Commands – for cybersecurity and cyber warfare
These bodies will help India fight in multiple domains at the same time using advanced technology.
MISSION SUDARSHAN CHAKRA – INDIA'S MISSILE SHIELD
One important project under this vision is Mission Sudarshan Chakra . This is a national defence shield. It will be a layered ballistic and air missile defence system . That means it will have many layers to stop incoming missiles. The shield will protect:

Strategic infrastructure (military bases, nuclear sites, etc.)

Civilian infrastructure (cities, power plants, etc.)
The mission is expected to become fully ready between 2030 and 2040 (during the Era of Consolidation).
RECORD DEFENCE BUDGET
To support all these plans, the government has already increased defence spending. In the latest Union Budget, the defence allocation was ₹7.85 lakh crore . This was the highest allocation among all ministries. This budget supports:
