National Platform for Crop Nutrition and Agri-Input Reforms
India’s agri-input sector will take centre stage as the Indian Micro-Fertilizers Manufacturers Association (IMMA) organises its 6th National Crop Nutrition Summit & B2B Expo on 5–6 February 2026 . The two-day event will be held at the National Stock Exchange , located in the Bandra Kurla Complex , Mumbai .
The summit is expected to bring together policymakers, scientists, industry leaders, startups, and global experts to discuss reforms, innovation pathways, and India’s ambition to emerge as a global agri-input manufacturing hub.
Theme and Strategic Orientation
The summit is being organised under the theme “Converge, Collaborate & Co-create” , highlighting the need for alignment between policy, industry, research, and innovation in crop nutrition. Key discussions will focus on micronutrients, specialty fertilisers, biologicals, and precision nutrition , reflecting evolving soil health challenges and shifts towards sustainable farming practices.
IMMA aims to use the platform to strengthen India’s position in the global agri-input value chain, particularly in high-value and non-subsidised segments.
Inauguration and High-Level Participation
The event will be inaugurated by Jayakumar Jitendrasinh Rawal , Minister of Marketing & Protocol, Government of Maharashtra. The Guest of Honour , P. K. Singh , Agriculture Commissioner, Government of India, will outline the Centre’s reform roadmap for agri inputs.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare , the Indian Council of Agricultural Research , State Agriculture Departments, and commissioners from progressive states will participate alongside CEOs and founders of leading agri-input firms.
Two-Day Structure: From Dialogue to Outcomes

Day One – Converge & Collaborate
The first day will feature the inaugural session, a policy dialogue on One Nation, One License , farmer awards, a roundtable on integrating micronutrients and biologicals into fertiliser policy, a Media Speaks session, and a Pitch Party showcasing agri-startup innovations.

Day Two – Co-create
The second day will focus on outcomes through structured B2B meetings , masterclasses on international trade, fundraising, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and manufacturing excellence. The summit will conclude with an Industry–Government–Startup Conclave .
Policy Priorities and Sector Outlook
IMMA is expected to reiterate key policy priorities, including export-friendly regulations , stricter action against counterfeit agri inputs , a clear separation between subsidised and non-subsidised products , and formal recognition of regenerative and biological inputs .
With soil nutrient depletion and sustainability concerns driving demand, the summit is likely to reinforce IMMA’s role as a major policy voice shaping the future of India’s crop nutrition ecosystem.
