The Khelo India Tribal Games have ended on a high note in Chhattisgarh with the grand finale event hosted by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Sportspersons such as Mary Kom and Bhaichung Bhutia also graced the occasion. The tournament celebrated tribal sporting talent across India.
Final Day Events and Highlights
There were exciting matches during the final day of competition including the men’s football match and archery. West Bengal took home the gold medal after winning against host Chhattisgarh 1-0 in Raipur. Silver was won by Chhattisgarh, giving the host state an incredible show for home fans.

Archery events also took center stage during the final day of the tournament, with great performances recorded. Komalika Bari, representing Jharkhand, clinched the gold medal for the women’s individual event. Nagaland bagged gold in the women’s team event, while Arjun Khara (Odisha) won the gold medal in the men’s individual event. Men’s team gold was also won by Jharkhand.
Ranking and Medals
Karnataka emerged champions with 23 gold medals; followed by Odisha and Jharkhand. On their home soil, Chhattisgarh placed ninth, winning three gold medals.
