India’s sport climbing ecosystem received a major boost as 14-year-old Amieyra Khoslla won the gold medal in the Youth Girls (Under-17) category at the 29th National Sport Climbing Championship 2025 . The championship was held in Bengaluru from December 26 to 29 , bringing together the country’s best young climbers across age groups and disciplines.

Commanding Final Round Performance

Amieyra competed in the bouldering discipline , where she showcased remarkable physical strength, technical control, and mental composure. In the final round, she topped the leaderboard with an overall score of 83.8 points , successfully navigating all four problem routes. Her ability to adapt quickly to complex routes and maintain consistency under pressure distinguished her from the rest of the field.

Flawless Qualification Sets the Tone

Her gold-medal journey was anchored by a perfect qualification round on December 27, 2025. Amieyra scored a flawless 100.0 points , topping all four bouldering problems. This placed her as joint top qualifier heading into the finals and firmly established her as a title contender even before the decisive round.

Championship Organisation and Venue

The event was organised by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) in collaboration with the General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure . Hosted at Yavanika, Bengaluru , the championship featured bouldering and speed climbing events across multiple age categories, attracting talent from across India.
