  • Tech boost for jute farmers  – The  Jute Crop Information System (JCIS)  has been rolled out to bring technology‑driven monitoring to jute cultivation across India – a smart move for one of the country's traditional fibre crops.

  • PLFS gets a revamp  – The  Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) , conducted by the National Statistical Office under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, has been given a fresh makeover starting  January 2025  – aiming for sharper labour data.

  • CJI Surya Kant forms new infrastructure panel  – The  Chief Justice of India  has announced the creation of a  Judicial Infrastructure Advisory Committee  to improve court facilities across the country – because justice needs good buildings too.
