The fisheries industry of India has experienced significant revival with the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) which was launched in 2020. The scheme has increased ecological sustainability, economic growth and social inclusiveness after five years. Production has also gone great, infrastructure has grown and livelihoods have been reinforced. The extension of it to 2025-26 by the government is a sign of its undeterred determination.

NASA Rover detects evidence of ancient life on Mars

The Perseverance rover NASA continues to launch the most significant evidence of life on the planet Mars as existing in ancient times and the potential of having microbial life. In 2024, a rock sample examined by the rover in the Jezero Crater of Mars was named "Cheyava Falls" and included chemical and structural structures that are similar to patterns formed by microbial life on Earth.

AIIMS Introduces AI Mental Health Programme Never Alone

In 2025, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, launched an AI-based mental health project, Never Alone. The programme was introduced on World Suicide Prevention Day and it deals with increased cases of student committed suicide and mental health. It offers 24/7 virtual and offline consultations, with a WhatsApp-readable application, which offers safe and cost-effective mental health screening in the country.

Hellfire Missile Fails to hit UFO in the US

Washington was shocked when the news that one of the US Hellfire missiles did not hit a UFO at Yemen was reported.
