Context:
The Collins Dictionary has selected ‘Vibe Coding’ as its Word of the Year 2025, reflecting the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming how humans interact with technology. The term highlights a new era in software development where natural, conversational language replaces traditional coding syntax.

• India has unveiled its first AI Governance Framework to ensure responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The guidelines, released by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in November 2025, mark a major policy milestone in aligning innovation with accountability and data ethics.

• The 53rd Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Memorial Indoor Tournament (SSBMT) 2025 began at the CSIR–Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CIMFR), Dhanbad, celebrating the unique blend of science, sportsmanship, and collaboration among India’s leading research institutions.
