Overview
IN-SPACe, India’s space regulator, led a team of nine Indian space companies to an event in Venice, Italy. The event was called Space Meetings Veneto 2026. It took place on 16–17 May 2026. The Indian team was led by Dr. P.K. Jain. The companies signed new deals with Italian firms. This will help India and Italy work together in space technology.
What Is IN-SPACe?
IN-SPACe stands for the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre . It works under the Department of Space. Its job is to:

Regulate private space activities in India.

Authorise space projects by non-government companies.

Help Indian firms join the global space economy.
