Deep Jariwala, an Indian-origin scientist has been appointed to the highly sought-after UT-ORNL Governor Chair of Quantum Devices in America. He is now a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and will officially assume the chair in January 2027. This appointment is a joint appointment with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Oak Ridge National Laboratory making him at the cross-road between academic and national level research.
