• The third phase of the VAANI scheme has been implemented by the All India Council of Technical Education in order to facilitate the use of Indian languages in technical education and research, which has eased the learning process.
• The 2026 Bill on the Constitution (131 st Amendment) Bill, which sought to provide women with 33 per cent reservation in Parliament and in State Assemblies, was defeated in the Lok Sabha by failing to get the required two-thirds majority.
