2026 Assembly Election Results: Mega Political Change in Major States in India.

Introduction: A Coming of Age in Indian Politics.

This is the first significant change in the Indian political sphere that was unleashed by the 2026 Assembly elections. Some of the important states experienced significant leadership transitions. The outcomes are indicative of the shifting voter turnout and emergence of new political dynamics in the country.

  • Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won 59 seats.

Kerala: The Break of a 10-year Rule.

There was also a significant political transformation in Kerala. The United Democratic Front obtained a great victory.

  • UDF won more than 100 seats
  • Left Democratic Front was kicked out of power.

This outcome brought to an end a ten-year LDF government reign. It is a historic moment as well. In the first time in many years, there is not a left government anywhere in power in any Indian state.

Assam: Coherence and Good Leadership.
